Unfortunately there are still some who moan about having those usernames and passwords and need them reset every 5 minutes! ;-) Hey, there are even teachers around who still don't understand (don't want to understand) what the internet is! I think the big shift I have seen in my pedagogy lately is that I don't teach IT skills as a lesson - it is all just integrated into what I am doing. When I started teaching 5 years ago it was the done thing to cover a particular list of ICT skills over the term in the computer suite, now that is of the past and children just learn by watching and doing - completing work they previously did on paper or were unable to do at all, but doing it using IT skills. Doesn't take the kids long to remember their passwords and usernames either! Very thought provoking!
